Participating in the consortium commission of Rushes by Michael Gordon
As one of the 30 bassoonists who participated in the consortium commission organized by Dana Jessen and the New Music Bassoon Commissioning Fund, Jamie was able to present one of the regional premieres of Rushes by Michael Gordon, on March 21, 2013. This event was the second performance of the work in the United States.

Women's Philarmonic Advocacy
The Toledo Symphony Youth Orchestras received a Women's Philharmonic Advocacy Performance Grant to commission Rekindled Shards for the Symphonic Orchestra.
New work for Bassoon & Alto Saxophone
Strife for bassoon and alto saxophone was completed in early April 2013. It was commissioned by Don-Paul Kahl and Tyler Austin of the Aether Duo. Strife was written as a companion piece to Cross'd for two soprano saxophones. Check back soon for more information on the premiere and performances near you!
